- Would this be a good morning protein or should i stick with pure whey?
Combat has some benefits over pure whey for use first thing in the morning. Because it contains a blend of proteins, it provides amino acids for an extended period of time.

Using protein anytime around the period of working out is beneficial. However most people prefer to use it post workout.

Combat is a more flexible protein powder than ISO100. ISO100 has a strong emphasis on post workout recovery, which, if you use it during the day, will be too fast to maintain muscle building.
